Joining the S5IS family 
Just got mine yesterday... excited and all.
Anticipating to learn more from all "old-birds" from here ;p
By the way, for those interested to know. Canon no longer gives out the GP Bank Charger.
They've replaced it with GP CYCKO charger.
p/s: Anyone going for the free class on 16 April 7-9pm?

Couple of tips;
If u wanna take pictures "DSLR like", shoot with the highest resolution with superfine settings. Any lower will make your pictures comparable with other compact cameras.
And if possible, use ur "MF" button as much as possible to sharpen your images before u shoot. Works very well when taking night shots with a tripod.
sorry to ask. how actually this MF works. cos i press i dont see any diff actually :dunno:
U hold on to the MF button and simultenously press either the up or down button.

S3 functions are very similar to S5.

There's no battery indicator. It will only flash red when it's low. So always practice a gd habit of bringing out extra sets of batts.

I haven't been using my external flash with my S5 IS since i bought it late June last year but if i'm shooting a whole day with my S5 IS, i'll bring out extra 2 sets of batts.
