The 4 years warranty is not free and it is purely covered by HN internationally. U have to pay 100+ but it cover all "faulty" hardware replacement for free. It was the term and condition of the warranty that attracted me. U might want to read up more on the HN website.
For me i expected my S5IS to break down after 3 years+ that why I bought the extended warranty

hmm. alot of place is selling at ard $620.00 with just 1 x 2GB and case.
But at the end I went to HN and bought it . although it is a bit ex but it was the warranty that I aim for: 4 + 1 years :bsmilie:

Free gift are standard:
1. 2x 2GB
2. Kit bag + mini tripot
3. Screen protector
4. GP adapter kit
5. Camera Case

Btw have checked ard, current set for S5IS is all made in China:what:

u mean when u go other place to ask for quote is 620 with only 1x 2gb card and case? Other than that all the free gift they makan??:bigeyes:

anyway i go canon website put 699 with SD 4gb with a AA rechargeable battery kit

no, is $699. unless you dun needs the free gift then you can purchase at other shop for $620. btw if you felt that $699 is abit high for you. You can pay by installment 12 24 or 36.
Think quiet afew credit cards is support by HN with 0% interest.

Btw dun get it wrg that Im a staff from HN that are doing promotion for HN now :bsmilie:

Therefore, I should stop toking abt HN and back to my topic which is the close up filter +4 and canon original adaptor price

Did you try AP funan... Bought the 3rd party 52mm from them last week. They should also have the 58mm in stock.

Not very good deal.. Though I paid 699, but I have 1 4GB, 2 2GB, battery Kit, camera pouch, carrying bag. I think shld be cheaper now. i guess, watch out for the made as well , if you re particular..
And I also got extra freebie from Canon as well.. I would say their CS is very good. they really take the effort to take care of the customer and our rights. Still figuring out all the various function .. :sweat:Welcome to PS 5

Haha thanks for the compliments! Just enjoy your new toy yah....the wide conversion lens can always get later. But u've to get the adapter and hood set as well.

I have been reading the forum from page one to the very last page during this evening and i got a question abt the adapter,pardon me if it was mentioned in the thread which i could have missed it:

What is the difference between a 58 mm and a 52 mm?

Understand that if i'm planning to get wide len and tele len, i should go for 58 mm (please correct me if i'm wrong). How about 52 mm? Thanks!

Why should u step down to 52mm when the original size should be 58?? U might get vignetting though.

I put mine in a Crumpler 5 mil dollar home with everything on it (adapter + wide conversion lens) and still got space for flash, batteries and a blower.

When shooting zooming to the max.. i found out that the camera cant focus and take a clear pic . NOrmal ?

after taking a pic with a flash.. wanted to shoot again.. the flash blink for a short while before I can take another pic.. normal ?

Sorry if they were silly questions.. first time using camera with rechargeable batt.. normally I use litium batt.
