I mananged to keep my film SLR and lenses for over a year in my cam bag and fortunately no fungus at all. Better not take chances, get a dry cabinet to be safer.

That's not the point. The point is using the same cam and take diff types of pics with diff concepts and compositions then share together....can be interesting.

i think shutter speed is dependent on what u r shooting and not whether u got an external flash. the flash unit's ETTL function will compensate the flash output automatically based on the settings on the camera.

please correct me if my understanding is incorrect..

There's no such theory as in what shutter speed we must use as it's all camera-dependant. The flash will sync together with the camera and will work in any shutter speed.

SLRs and prosumers are the same, unless u use flash in which the cam's shutter speed exceeds its x-sync speed, then u've to use high-speed sync.
