Hi,

Just a follow up. Jade has celebrated her full month baby shower:

11 - Brown Eyes Girl - She has my eyes.

12 - "Hey! How long more are you all going to disturb me?"

Jade was having her first hair cut.

Chinese culture feels that a new born has filthy hair, that is why Chinese shave their new born when the baby is 1 month old.

However, Ping and I don't believe that our kids' hair are filthy, but we shaved them because:

1. We shaved their new born hair to make into Chinese Calligraphy Brush.
2. We believe that their new hair will be better after the shave.

Thanks Oooooze. I will continue to take photographs of her so long as she is willing and I am still capable to hold a camera, ha!

Congratulation to your coming child too. 2 months is fast, better get all the baby stuff ready as once the baby arrives, it will be busy.

For the lens, I only have common lens. I used the 50f1.8 and mostly the D90 kit lens (as I need the versatility to zoom to recompose when she strikes a cute pose. For the eye close up, I used a Sigma 50 f2.8 1:1 macro lens.

Hope this helps and lets learn together.

Those photos are taken with tons of patience loh...ha! Anyway, now my 4 year old boy doesn't like to be my model (rebellious age I guess), I have plenty of time with my girl who has not learned to say "no" yet. Hahahahahha!
