Ok ok, not my monitor, but the graphics on my CRT monitor...
It's not the refresh rate.

My friend say knock the monitor a few times will be ok, but tried, cannot...

Any other method to implement anti-shake?

Thanks a lot...

.

did you just run a power line or put a transforner (aka adapters) near it?

sounds like electromagnectic interference.

Some monitors also do that when they're old, and you get problems with the internal electronics/mechanics.

Try to relocate it to another position, or try to turn off all other electronic devices in the vicinity to see if it'll help. If none of these work, then maybe time to go shopping for a new monitor, or send it in for repair (I'd suggest the former if your current unit is more than 2-3 years old)

heard that this happened to someone when the microwave is being used ;p

if your monitor behaves consistently, maybe it's time to change.

happens to mine... the knocking works for me

signs of old age, after a few more months or a year a so, it will suddenly become a line of vision when u switch it on, it give u a "shut eye" effect.. lol... my previous monitor lasted me for 7yrs....

now one this already 5yrs.. still good and going...

if flicker, den faster sell to garang guni and get a new one la.. later the monitor die liao no value le..

Step1: Drink lots of coffee
Step2: Vibrate in sync with image

Probably electron gun at the back is dying.

Try kicking the monitor?

That's what I did, when my office monitors misbehaves.

It's the interference from the TV that's just beside my monitor.
Switched it off nothing happened liao..
(I just rearranged my room)

haha, time to rearrange again then.

my friend has a similar problem, but it was due to her aircon. :)

One possible answer... I've seen this happen when the monitor can't handle the refresh frequency. Go to your monitor settings and make sure you're not trying to overdrive it. On the long run it can damage the monitor.
