My macro photography using the Micro Four Thirds setup [chvictor]

All very nice picture Victor.
Been enjoying all your beautifully taken pictures.
Apparently, I am also using a DIY defuser which quite similar to your setup but only with hard plastic. Will try to use the same material as yours. Perhaps can advice, where I can get one?

Thanks Actururss. Those are soft foam packaging material. Just keep a look out...people may happen to throw them away. You can also try at Arts Friend.

thanks for the wonderful photos. always a pleasure to see them. just got myself a olympus m.zuiko 60 mm macro last weekend to go with the raynox 250. went through several step down rings with the helpful sales person and couldn't get anything to fit. please advise on the correct size step down ring to use? thanks in advance.

Erm.. if I remembered correctly, the Raynox 250 is a snap mount, fitting any lens with filter size from 52-67 mm. You need a step up from 46 mm.

Normally, nowadays, for such small things like lens caps, adapter rings, step up rings, I tend to get them from Ebay or other online stores. There are lots of such stuff available cheaply from HK/China Ebay sellers offering free postage. Typically around a few US dollars, wait about 2-3 weeks to reach.

you are right. Raynox 250 has snap on mount which I am currently using and had accidentally knock it off once or twice while looking for subjects in the bushes. luckily no damage. that is why I am think of using a screw type mount for peace of mind.

I see..
In this case, I believe you should be looking for a step down 46 to 43 mm.

The 60/2.8 micro is 46mm, the Raynox is supposed to be 43 mm. Go hunting on Ebay

OK. that's what I found after some googling. called several shops and none have it. ended up ordered one from eBay for S$2 last night.

100+, can't remember exactly, bought it some time back. you can check mass sales. don't have 50 f1.4. so can't answer the qtn. i was using 25 mm extension tube on 100 mm macro with the Raynox.

so is like a normal len plus extension tube and raynox dc250 will work
