This morning went to birding, tried out the coninuous burst shots, it's VERY Fast, the new increased shutter life from 100k to 200k gives me no worry to shoot more in contiunous shots.

I know who I will not buy 2nd hand K3 from.


Nice shot as usual.
I'm sure the K3 feature set (AF; 24mp; faster response; etc) fits your needs like a glove.

nope. With AWB only.. Will stick to this until there is update on the Multi AWB in LR, i hope.

Previously, while shooting RAW with Multi AWB, on Camera, it looks great, bringing it to LR, it look so different.. However, i noticed that the white balance issues will happen when I am shooting indoor mostly before i switch to AWB.

Not sure will there be difference in JPEG..

Hi, anyone of you using a USB3.0 cable to download photos from camera? Or just take out SD card ?

Also, iPhoto on iMac cannot handle Raw DNG from the K3, but it used to be able to handle raw DNG shot on the Kr. Anyone know why or how I could use iPhoto to download Raw DNG files created on K3? Now I shoot only JPEG

I have had the camera for several days now and I love using it.Auto focus is very fast. The new 27 point AF system gives you pin-point accuracy in AFS.

It's compact for a pro-level DSLR.and I have put the ultra thin 40mm XS lens on the camera in place of a body cap.The K3.is built like a brick and you can be sure that this camera is made to last.

See if Apple site has updates for the K3. I think it is too new. I use Aobe Lightroom but still no updates yet too.
