That's what I was thinking too.
I learned about the flash during photoshoot where I see other people using IT and was surprise by the performance in day light not to assumed because is another manual flash similar to another ..it is a quantum flash copy / same company branded it as cheetah in the US. and is Made in China you might want to goggle about it.

I felt the same. but paysei dare not comment on this / could be the sensor will emphasis weaker lens weaker and better lens better/ focus point not correct.. I see samples with strange powder smudge effect or subtle harse lines pattern / or could be the setting or processing used by phtographer ???
Paysai not saying you are bad photographer / but may take some learning curve to master this camera
K3 Can't be that bad .. / if gxr by richo already can kill.

Actually the shot was taken at f2. The AF was aim at right model eye. That why only 1 eye is sharp. Both model not really align. So its quite adventurous to shoot it at f2. Just playing with the lens. Oh also the fact. The photo is an compressed photo for sharing. Some of the details cannot be seen properly. But I am sure you guys not looking at the eyes....

Ah.... The problem of bokeh; causing one to develop tunnel vision hence the confusion.. ;P
Nevertheless, awesome shot, distracted or not.. Hee!
On a side note, I do observe that this usually happens when the subject dons any frame around the eyes. Tends to lock onto the rim rather than the pupil, even on my K30, leading to front focus.
Took the K3 for a spin at Suntec last weekend .....
