This is actually my first time to post photos here. I'd like to share some of the near infrared photos I took recently.

You know something?
With Hoya R72, it is not easy to have separation of the colours on the leave blades like you have here - golden on the inside, and white at the edge...
The leaves will always appear mono-chromatic - one single colour.

the actual color of those leaves are dark green with white edges, hence the color rendering in IR. :)

That's why I said it's good! Again!

Welcome Sir, I think I know how you got your shots ;) That's greenbelt in makati, and you can't shoot there easily without a special permit... Good to see a "Light-chaser" here :)

Was this last week? Seems you didnt get enough sunlight... But congratulations on your start in IR :)

Thanks Jay! Yep you're right! I was there last week as a returning alumni. I'm from CL12 & CLA6. You must be a light chaser yourself. Let's shoot together with the rest of the light chasers here. Would be glad to meet you guys! Thanks again and for dropping by... =)

CLA 1 and CL 7 :)... Would like that so I can meet fellow IR shooters as well

This photo was one of my first few shots in IR. Just after getting myself an IR filter and reading some tips both from internet and magazine, I found myself waiting patiently for some good light to shine and eventually fired up my shutter on a drizzly overcast afternoon. Wether or not I got a correct CWB, I had to fire it up. Its my last chance, I had to leave this place the next day. I have to get it right...

... this shot..

Best if the pavement at the bottom left corner is cropped off IMHO

Agreed. It's a distraction. Can also try to clone or use content aware fill, but cropping would be a much easier solution :)
