Hi Guys,
Just like to share some of my collection for your viewing. Hope you like them and C&C welcomed.

Sony F717 is really a joy to have (been with me for 5years now) esp doing IR is a breeze.

Using IR and ND8 Filter. PP with Hue/Saturation adjustment, levels, contrast and masking (aka Paint With Light) for the magic touch.

Rest are all HERE.

Enjoy!

probably has a modded camera, don't think the goat can keep still for so long unless it is dreaming

nice photos.. but there are tilts in the landscape shots here and there.. easily correctable though!

That depends on the camera. A P&S will cost less than a DSLR (on top of the camera cost). www.lifepixel.com has good information about camera conversion and infrared in general. I shoot with a converted P&S which I can easily carry around along with my DSLR. A converted camera will no longer take normal color photos.

Very nice series of photos! I have found the zoo to be a fun place to shoot IR.

Thread Starter is using a Sony F717 with night shot mode.
IR cut filter is removed from the front of the sensor but exposure is limited to speed slower than 1/60 and aperture fixed at maximum (somewhere between 2.0 to 2.8)
Very easy to use, very sharp... just need extra ND filters...

Yup, psccy is right. It's a breeze using IR with sony F717 + R72 and ND8 filter. But of course, need to PP a little bit to create impact.

Cheers!

Even though I know have a modded Fuji, I still miss the F717... very sharp lens... very low noise...
