I sent you a message, please check ... thanksSir im a newbie on photography hobby i hope you could teach me how to do ir thanks
Thanks for the tips BroAdnix. Actually I'm already using D300s with my Sigma-10-20mm. No hotspot at all. Those latest post with a bit hot spot is the result from my Sigma 17-70mm. I only finish posting all shots from Sigma 17-70mm then after that, I will retire that lens for my IR and use my Sigma 10-20mm all the way. Here is a sample shot from my Sigma 10-20mm from my previous post.Nice series! Do note that the hotspot is quite visible on most of the photos (mabmy has also mentioned this in an earlier posting). Although the hotspot can actually make the photo quite interesting sometimes, you might also want to experiment with other lenses that don't produce so much hotspot, so that the centre of your pics will not become overexposed so easily. Eg. the 18-55mm kit lens that came with your D5000 is actually a very good lens for IR![]()
Thanks for alerting Bro, maybe you're right. I will take note of that and do some observations on my future shots.... Unfortunately I don't have my Nikon 18-55mm ...Actually I think I still see the hotspot in the centre of the pic... maybe it's just my eyes playing tricks on me though
Do you still have your nikon 18-55mm? If you are free you can try taking 2 different pics of the same thing, and maybe the difference will be more obvious![]()
