Hi there, your compositions are quited not bad, infact i think #3 looks quite good. There are visible hotspots though throughout your whole series. May i know what lens are you using to take these shots and is this taken with a modded cam? :)

These are taken with a D5000 plus Stppo IR720nm filter. The lens is Sigma 17-70mm.
Thanks for your comments and for dropping Bro:)

They are more of observations actually :)

I notice that your photos have different color renditions on them, is it because of the way you post process them?

Or is it because of the filter's quality? Im not familiar of the filter you are using so I am wondering if the inconsistencies were because of that.

It is also possible that you can't get a consistent WB for IR because of the quality of the filter.

I would suggest, to really know if your filter is of good quality, try to take photos and let's see if you get consistent results. With that, you can appreciate more the art of IR photography, instead of a "hit or miss" approach because of a not so good quality filter. :)

If time permits, let's shoot sometime, I'm usually in Japanese Garden :)

You're absolutely right Bro, it's a hit or miss approach as of this moment. I'm still doing some tests for my WB and processing. Hope you can help me. I really like your photos both here in Clubsnap and in DPP. The weather is not so good for IR these few days, always raining. I really like your blue sky and golden yellow combo. I hope I can make it same with yours. Here are some of my photos I take from Chinese Garden last weekend after the rain... hehe. There's no much sunlight and I just give a try. I need your CnC so that I can improve mine too ... tia
