Forgot to mention -- this was with Sony A5000.
Wow.. U mount your Sony a5000 on your drone?
With 16mm/20mm the total weight is 330+ grams. GP3 + gimbal + FPV components are only slightly lighter.
Other options r the ricoh which is 200 plus grams and i suspect samsung can be pretty light too.
Wow.. Then I presume u just set it to taking time lapse photos all the way from flight start as there isn't anyway to control these cameras in flight.. In that case you won't have the fpv? Or u have 2 cams? One stock for fpv and the a5000 for the pictures.. Like to learn from you more on your setup.. FYI. I just got my drone flyaway MIA.. Haha
Yeah. All my photos here weren't shot with FPV. I think FPV is more crucial for video. For panos just send the bird straight up, do a few revolutions and hope for the best heh. Why and where did it fly away?
Was flying at the barrage.. Trying to fly up.. Reached about 148m height.. Fpv video shows phantom doing a +/- 30 degree side to side ... Guess wind is too strong there.. Next moment fpv freezes - "lost connection".. Expected drone to switch to RTH mode.. It didn't.. Bye bye bird.. (Heart ache).. Waiting for the vision 2+ now.. Haha
Condolences! Yeah i think seaside wind can be a bit unpredictable... vision+ should be interesting...
