 It's okay lah... I will continue to use it till it gives me problem or pisses me off... :bsmilie:

Unless someone offer me a good price...

well, the filter is yours, you are welcome to sell at which ever price you find comfortable ;)

I find my B+W gives me more psychological comfort than Hoya!

If anything, the Minolta CPL I bought certainly produces no vignetting on wide angle compared to horrible vignetting on the Hoya

I have a B+W filter. Bought the HOYA Super HMC because was over budget for me. Didn't take note about the MRC (Multi-Resistant Coating).

I just tried clean both B+W and HOYA filter...yes... there is different...

But what can I do... if I sell my HOYA Super HMC, it will be a great lost... if I sell it at $28-$30... would anyone want?

If anyone want it at that price, I will sell it. I need to sell 2 of them...

Maybe u should try out B+W.

One thing gd abt the B+W is that even when fine mists of water get onto the filter, it'll just evaporate off after a while and leave no marks. But in the case for Hoya, it's the other way round.

That's the true quality between a Japanese filter vs German ones.

Sigh.... okay.... someone quote me a reasonable price... I may sell my HOYA Super HMC..

Sell it then get a B+W. My 67mm UV MRC Haze is $78 and the 77mm one's $116.

Go to any reputable shop.

Ask to see both the Hoya and the B&W UV filters

Place both on a white piece of paper. COmpare

You'll notice the Hoya has a slight yellow tint whereas the B&W is totally clear

You get what you pay for. =)

You are right... didn't notice it until I just check it. Okay... time to sell the HOYA.

The metal construction of B+W filter (from brass??) also known very sturdy and fit well to the thread of the filter. Compare that too with Hoya. See the differences?

B+W filters trump Hoyas any day. The fact that it is easy n hassle free to clean makes the premium all worth while especially when u r traveling!

I agree with that. My Hoya Pro 1 digital ones are a little more difficult to 'eat' into the lens threading. And yes, it's made of brass and has improved properties over aluminium.

Just read from some of the other threads that most of camera shops like CP, TCW, TK Foto and others carry them. Tx.

you can try from here
got my kaesemann CPL from this site. registered delivery in 1 week.

price after conversion is about the same as a normal CPL.
