Ups.
There is this model whom I did her makeup for a studio shoot. She didnt like the makeup and claimed that I put "bright pink" blusher and lipstick for her on purpose because we "quarreled". I wasnt feeling well and in fact before she came, I wanted to go off already but I decided to stay and wait for her. (So much for being nice!) After I finished her makeup, she asked me for makeup remover and told me she preferred to do her own makeup.
I ask you- If you were in my shoes, would you be pissed off??
The lights in the studio are very strong, thus the colors HAD to be stronger else the makeup cannot even be seen. Moreover, it was a TFCD collaboration.
I had nothing to gain by doing "bad" makeup for her. I emailed her to clarify with her. She didnt reply. I thought the issue has been settled.
Even the photog had explained to her that the makeup was fine and it was necessary to use brighter shades.
(I swear to God, everything I say here is true.)
BUT she has been going around telling people that I "suck", and my makeup is "horrible". I did makeup for her ONCE. She didnt like it. FINE.
So clever, do your own makeup. I am a professional makeup artist and I have been doing makeup for years. Why does she think she has the right to criticise my makeup skills?
No matter how "horrible" my makeup skills may be, at least I dont make my models look 10 yrs older. Her makeup is damn screwed up, especially the way she applies her eyeshadow. Such a big mess. I was shocked when I heard she is only 17 yrs old. (Or is it 18?) She looks more like 26. (And Im not being spiteful, just being honest.)
Since when is it okay for an amateur to criticise the works of a professional?
If YOU have a problem with me, come talk to me straight in my face, dont go around talking bad about me behind my back.
Shame on YOU.
So far, she is the only one who complained about my makeup. I guess I dont have to talk so much, just let my works speak for itself.
Anyway, no matter how pretty and hot you think you are, if your attitude sucks, and you behave like everyone owes you a living, you are not going to get very far in life. So far, almost every model and photog I meet knows about her and her bad attitude. I say good luck to her.
