Hi etegration
How did you do this? What software did you use?

Thanks
Bernard

Hi Benard, the latest one was using aftereffects. music from Fireflies in the Garden.

Taking the shots, crop, noise ninja in CS, apply it using action in Photoshop to all photos, feed them to After Effects, add music, export then upload to Vimeo.

Taking the shots, i use EOS Utility till my timelapse shutter release arrives. It can take anything from 1 sec per shot, my settings for the latest one on Vimeo was 10 secs a shot. EOS Utility does not support HDR shooting (eg 3 shots per set) thus why ordered the timelapse shutter release. It's like any shutter release, just that it has a timer built in.

Come over to http://www.timescapes.org/phpBB3/index.php, a lot of tutorials, applications, hardware/ equipment discussion there but can be slow in response at times...

Thanks etegration.
I use a 450D and was checking up on how to take interval shots. Apparently, there isn't an interval timer switch from Canon for 450D. All the remote switches for 450D are without interval timers.

I was also wondering which software you used to feed all the photos into and create a movie with it. Thanks for sharing that its After Effects.

I like the Pioneer station build very much.

Appreciate it.
Bernard

You stay just next to the station is it......I stay behind ur block. These few days I am at home keep hearing them test the announcement "no eating or drinking is allowed on station n trains...."

there are similiar Intervalometers, that's what it's called i think, meant for 450D and it looks a lot like what i have ordered. To create simple ones like those earlier ones i done and uploaded in youtube, i used Quicktime. Start the player, choose file > image sequence, choose the first image and it's done. Of course, use something like Irfanview to resize in batches all the images first, if not it'll take ages to load.
