MP - Dust getting into Viewfinder?

Guys,

Research on internet reveals that Leica MP (and M7) eyepiece suffers from inferior design. ie. the eyeglass is held in place by 3 screws and a rubber piece that leaves a "gap" - over time, dust and gunk enters the VF. Older Ms have the earpiece screwed into the body frame, a feature missing in MP (and M7) so that Leica save on cost of CNC threading the body frame.

Reports also suggest that later serials of MP are sealed by "gel" by Leica factory before it is released. Some people have also sent their MP back to Solms to clean the VF of gunk, and the MP is returned sealed by "gel".

First question: I would like to ask gewei shifu whether you are aware there are MPs around that are "sealed". I have googled but cannot really see any sample photos how to detect the sealing gel. Apparently, some Leica MPs have eyepieces that have "good seal", and some got "bad seal".

Second question: if don't have the sealing gel, what type of gel can I buy in Singapore easily that I can DIY seal the"gap" by myself? I read on internet got people say can use "silicone caulk" but I have no idea what is this chemical and where in Singapore is this available.

Third question: Besides MP & M7, does anyone know whether this eyepiece problem is present in MP Classic and MP3 also?

Thank you for your advice. I am interested in MP, but I holding back coz I am disenchanted by the idea that VF is exposed to dust.

My understanding is those above 3mio serial no are sealed. I believe you can see the gap when u look at the side of the eyepiece.
