Mount Kinabalu - Penang - KL (Climb, Run, Walk)

Took a hardcore trip last week to climb Mount Kinabalu (17-18 Nov) then to run the Penang bridge half marathon (20 Nov) and finally to KL.

Shall share some photos here. C & C are appreciated.

Some interesting things during the climb to Laban Rata.

A Camel on Mount kinabalu?

My camera fogged up but I thought it looked kinda cool!

Took me forever to finally reach Laban Rata after about 5.5 hours. Most torturous climb thus far as I was cramping so badly in both thighs at the 4km mark. Had no idea how I manage to complete the last 2km.

Started the climb the next day at around 2.30 and waaala, we finally reach the summit at around 5.30AM

Couldn't stop snapping away as the view up on the summit was just spectacular!

Now that I've climbed it, I think these record holders are crazy!

Next to Penang for my half marathon!

After the run,

On top of some hill, at some temple. I have no idea what made me climb up there when I'm aching all over but oh well...

Just before we left to take a ferry to butterworth for our sleeper train, the sky looked like this...

Thought we were going to get stuck in Penang!

But the tower was closed so we couldn't go up.
