Motion is different from stills because it is a series of pictures, changes in colour, exposure and focus can be obvious to an audience.
The audience might notice a change in the colour rendition if you shoot a scene with two different lenses which are not colour matched.
Breathing is when lens magnification changes as focus changes. An example is the Nikon 70-200mm VR II changing magnification as you focus closer. If the actor is walking towards you, the audience will experience a zooming out effect instead of the actor getting bigger in the frame.
The shutter speed affects how motion is captured. An example is hair or clothing moving in the wind. The shutter speed is usually set at a fixed value and a lens that doesn't change the exposure when you zoom is ideal.
