Actually, just go wif wat u r comfy wif... U dun haf to go MF if u dun feel like it... AF is totally fast and spontaneous, especially on d CZ 24-1.8... not a bad lens at all...

Wait for the new 35mm f1.8, should be announced in a few weeks.
Should be cheaper than the CZ24 albeit unknown IQ. But all the same, with new e-mount lenses, prices of "old" lenses should come off?

Chances are it will not really affect the price of CZ24. I suppose that if u could wait for the 35mm for a few more weeks then wait lor, no harm done and you would have 1 more choice to choose from.

BTW the IQ of CZ24 is not bad.

Hi I'm a new to the Nex family, recently upgraded point-and-shooter.

If you could recommend one mount to experiment with manual (and a decent selection of legacy lenses that aren't too expensive), what would you recommend?

Would recommend LTM mount. Lotsa legacy lens to choose from.

For LTMs, u can choose some cheaper legacy lenses like Canon, Minolta and Nikkor's.. n oso some Voigtlander's

U can also get some Contax Mount lenses from Carl Zeiss which are really good, in quality in terms of build and optics.

If U R willing to spend more, get the M Mount Leica's, Carl Zeiss or Voigtlander lenses...

Thanks both - just 2 questions?
What brand adapter to buy? Where is a good place to find LTM lenses? Don't mind second-hand. The B&S forum don't seem to have many - are there any shops?

I sure hope Sony leaked a "high" price to set expectations low so when they come out lower people don't kpkb :(
