I think is the title of the thread.... Shld change to Most current Nex lenses are not good enough n remove the NEX-7... maybe pple see nex7 dunwan to come in alr

actually most NEX lenses are fine on the other bodies. it's just the NEX-7 due to the high-resolution sensor. and we have many NEX-7 users... but a lack of NEX-7 members in here :bsmilie:
maybe most of them are happy with current lens on their Nex-7

from earlier this year til now, I gradually acquired 6 CV lenses and 1 original Germany made voigtlander (and another in the coming mail) for my 5N and 7.
6 of them are chrome/silver.28 and 35 are the most used ones. other just dont wanna let go. they look and feel just so nice.
maybe will post some photo of them later this week when I have time.

Hmm.. Just curious.. If most of the current E mounts are not good enough for the 7 due to its high resolution sensor. How does the A mounts perform on the 7? Alot better? i dont own a Nex 7 :embrass:
Of the Sony/KM lenses I've used on the NEX-7, only the Minolta 200mm f/2.8 can resolve on par with the sensor. The 135mm f/1.8 comes close, but isn't quite there.
I suspect that the sharpness of some glass is diminished a bit by the additional magnification of any CA that shows up in the images. 24mp on APS-C would extrapolate to around 56mp as a FF sensor. Lenses designed to meet a price point rather than a stellar level of quality probably aren't gonna cut the mustard, which is why folks like us often look to legacy lenses and other non-Sony glass as alternatives.

Pretty much agree on yr point... Just look at those pics from our legacy lenses... Even d E Mount Zeiss 24-1.8 cannot match most of them... Sad to say...

If u look at yr thread u started on the NEX users... There are alot of NEX 7 users... Even the NEX 3 & 5 users can drop a line here now and then...

Its not bad and is really very light if u compare to cv35mm f1.2 but then i wouldnt let it go not unless i sell the whole system hahaha...

you need to visit Cathay Photo or Chiff Cameras :bsmilie:
or SLRR , they sell Zeiss lens also. :bsmilie:
