One of the most important things I learned when I first started trying different lenses was from Bjorn Rorslett's website. He mentioned that a lens is "good" only if it's good for what you intend to use it for.
The best value for me at 24mm FL is my Elmarit-R 24mm f/2.8. But for someone who shoots in low light and needs f/1.4 or f/1.8, that particular lens wouldn't be a "good" value at all. For someone who needs close focus, the Sigma 24mm f/1.8 might be a "good" value, even with its other caveats; while the otherwise spectacular Leica 24mm Summilux, with a MFD of 0.7m wouldn't be a "good" value at all.
If just any 24mm lens will do, you'll probably find a bunch of 'em listed at the dyxum.com website.
