Morroco Intimate 2011

The Beautiful Strays. There were some lovely stray cats all round Morocco and this is my showcase of some of them.

I have to be fair to the dogs too.

A High Atlas Mountains dog. Maybe a guard dog, he frightened me with his barking, or a shepherd. Not sure. On that day, he looked like he was just relaxing

I found another album where i compiled the more interesting pictures about Morocco and i thought i'd end it by showcasing them, this way.

When i told my Father i was going to Morocco, he asked me 'what's there to see in Morocco?'. And i did not have an answer for him because, unlike, Paris, you can say 'Eiffel Tower', or Egypt, you can say 'the Pyramids', or China you can say 'The Great Wall' or Singapore, you can proudly say "MBS!":bsmilie:, i was at a loss to answer his question...

Now that i have spent 2 weeks there, i can say i can see...

Mosques and minarets.. (Katoubia of Marrakech)

Africa's largest night markets.. (Djaama El Fna)

Kasbahs..(Ait Ben Haddou)

We'd traverse the High Altas Mountains..(Taken from our hotel room in Marrakech)

We'd walk narrow streets painted in a quaint white-blue combination (Kasbah of the Ouydayas)...

We'd ride camels in the setting sun...

Ride 4x4s into the deepest deserts...

Climb 300 metre high Sahara sand dunes.

Yes, we did all that, and much more, all in one country.
