Mood trailer for "Kopi-O" an upcoming indie feature movie

Hi Guys,

A mood trailer for a feature movie my friend and me, the entire Lens Rebels, have been filming for the last two weeks. A probable release date is December 2014.

The movie features very talented Singaporean actors.

Thanks for watching!

wow indie feature. what kind of budget are you guys working on? I'm writing one too, and it's sure looking expensive!

I can't tell you the budget but it's substantially less than Rodriguez's "El Mariachi".

What we do, we play our strengths and wrote a script based on what we can do with the money we have. There's only two of us on the crew but we secured excellent actors who believe in us (we've been working hard the last year to produce many short movies in order to practice our craft). So we are gonna have excellent acting (countless hours of rehearsals) and a certain visual style that I've been honing for quite some time already.

And of course, we have the most important ingredient of movie making: we absolutely love cinematography and we will never stop no matter what; after all, in the worst case scenario, you can always make a good movie with only two actors and a handheld camera.

Good luck to your feature movie. Let me know if I could help with anything:-)

Yes, absolutely... of course sometimes money may be a real problem but we all love the craft and that's why we do crazy things like that! :bsmilie: I mean, if a studio picks us up it's great you know but if one doesn't, then it shouldn't stop us from attempting something anyway.

watched quite a number of your videos including Don't Hang Up and I really liked the outdoor night scenes in that one, especially the rooftop scene set against the city backdrop. there's certainly a bit of Michael Mann in that one. not dissimilar to a style favoured by myself.
