i got a good deal for a brand new Tamron 70-300 USD VC when i was in thailand last month, i was planning to sell the lens here in SG coz i usually shoot with primes... after almost 3months of shooting film with my rangefinder, i was tempted to give it a spin with my D700.

here are some shots, as i see the streets through the Tamron 70-300 USD VC.

I don't know what I am gonna buy but it's either the brand N or L

i dunno how the conversation is going between these two old folks... but from what i saw before i took this shot, the uncle on the left is picking his nose. afterwards, he dug somethin and was showing it to the right-side uncle (that's when i took this shot). :dunno:

A shot taken while going about the floating market in ratchaburi , Thailand... every time i think about that place, one thing comes to mind, GREAT COFFEE! it's a must if you go there... sipping it while on a boat completes the experience.

This man is one of 'em, making an honest living, paddling for tourists as they shop around the floating market.

Shot along the streets of manila... a common folk, just roaming around... probably jobless... one would wonder how can they make both ends meet, more appropriately... how can they make it through the day?

...an old lady, trying to squeeze the most out of her aged life making money through selling "balut" (a Philippine delicacy, an egg with a duck embryo inside ), to a point where she has to sleep along the streets just to make a sell, it's a hard life, just to make a living. a total contrast from the background... canned goods and everything! isn't it...
