There is this guy who will take model in bikini, lingerie or nude and posted in *** forum. Some of the models here are already a victim.

Might as well put out the name.

Else how to know? :dunno:

That said, some of the photos are actually leached and stolen to be placed elsewhere. You might want to check again with the photog in question if he/she has authorised the usage.

I am wondering if what that dude did infringes on anything? He did a paid shoot and can do what he likes with his photos, isn't it? Of course, he is not ethical but is there anything else we can accuse him of?

But then these are the guys that really ruin it all for the rest of us. We should stone his balls.

dun post the forum name here. u will give kids a bad scare. post the name of photographer instead pls.

I am talking about this guy, Kobeshaq. He has an account in Modelmayhem: http://www.modelmayhem.com/1283239.

Although the models are paid, he too shouldn't post that kind of photos. If the shots are done artistically, then its alright but its totally pornography. I wonder how many naive models had been tricked by this guy to do such poses.

I was nearly engaged by him but was told by my affected girlfriend that her photos are posted in that forum. She asked him to take down but he said that no model released is signed and therefore she can't do anything about it.

I was shocked to see what kind of shot he did for the models and I am lucky that I didn't take up his assignment. I hope this forum can give an education to newbie models to beware of this type of photographer.

hey ts, do u realise, no model release is signed shld mean that rights belong to ur gf?
model release is actually a legal binding contract saying ur gf has let go of her rights to the photographer. if she didnt sign, rights still belong to her, u can effectively sure that guy till he go bankrupt i think. can someone else advice regarding this?

Excuse me... Model release is only applicable mainly oveseas.

And even if there aren't any such release, the full rights of the pictures actually belongs to the photographer as he/she is the creator of the image/workpiece.

Unless your fren has commisioned the photographer to shoot the picture, the picture WILL never belong to the model.

You mean to say that the models are paid to do pornography?

pornography is illegal in SG, both the photographer and model could be charged..

Actually the photographer has done nothing wrong by posting the images on a forum, but just that the mentioned forum isn't much of a decent kind which makes it kinda ethically wrong.
But sometimes models have to be aware that once they are paid to do a shoot, the photographer is free to post the image on any platform, unless an agreement (black & white) is signed between the photographer and model on the use of the images.

not if its pornography. if u cant hit that guy from one way, hit it from another. i believe pornography in sg is strictly prohibited.

Well, I can't speak for my friend. Sometimes models especially newbies couldn't tell the difference. I was once told by a photographer that the pose "Doggie" is FHM common pose, but then when I realised that he is shooting from the back, I stood up.

I just feeling sad for my gf who had encountered such photographer. Now she is so worried that her friends might recognised her if the photos are exposed more. That was her first and last shoot for her, I guess.

I think you gals need a manager to manage your shoots. There are some shoot organizers in CS. I think can approach them.

hmm... just register a new nick to post this?

unless you are willing to back up your allegations with actual proof, you are not posting anything that CSers don't already know. thread closed before it degenerates into something of a farce. if you want to open it up, kindly furnish the CS Admin team with proof via PM. the last time something like this came up, the 'model' decided to drag the entire CS community into the mud with some lurid expose in the papers, which frankly, doesn't reflect the majority of us here.
