Hi people,

Sad case, the lens had some milling defect on the mount. i tried out my set on my 10D but it couldn't "click" or lock into place after turning all the way. well i gonna wait for the dealer's reply and i see what can i do with it.

the lens on the right is the mount that can be mounted on my cam.
the problem lies with the shaft. when i took out the it locks into place nicely.

apparently he still dun understand what i'm trying to say. well i've send him another e-mail to tell him how the suituation is like. I hope he can do something about it.

Whats the status.. Do all the lenses have the same problem.. Are you dealing with a local dealer or directly with the russians.

After a few e-mails through and fro they understand the problem now.


this is the reply i got from them,

We have consulted with the manufacturer about the EOS mounts but could not find a decision to fix your problem.

We would like to offer you the following.

We have a number of EOS fitting samples that we think they are the best and we may send one of them to you. You'll change the fitting on one of the lens and see how it works. If it's Ok, you'll remove other fittings and mail them to us. And we'll ship you the 5 other samples.

These fittings are easy to change but we'll mail you an instruction how to do that.



If the problem is still on after changing the fitting you may return all 6 lenses back to us for a refund.

OKAY great news man. they shipped one mount over le. and its working now they are sending the rest of the mounts over.. sorry for the wait...

I'm trying my best to get it done as soon as possible. The feight takes quite a long time..
