Due to popular requests for Sony and other uncommon batteries, EastGear.com, the company that brought you the E-GEAR Battery Packs will be conducting a MO (Mass Order) for compatible Sony, Fuji NP-60, Minolta NP-200 and Canon NB-5H (for Canon S10, S20) Lithium Ion Digital Camera / Video Battery Packs

These high quality cells are Made in Japan, are 100% compatible with their respective camera and charger models and have up to 30% higher capacities than original battery packs. In addition, they all come with an unprecedented 6 months "1 for 1 exchange" warranty.

These batteries are OEM version from our E-GEAR factories and they come without any retail labels or packing as we have no plans to retail these batteries. The good news is that these batteries will come cheaper with the same high quality as E-GEAR batteries.

that'll be great, currently outside OEM one is $35 MScolour. capacity dunno 750 or 600.

Many thanks for posting the MO for our "uncommon" battery.
I am interested in getting the Fuji NP-60 battery.
However, the original Fuji NP-60 battery is rated 1035mAh, higher than the Eastgear NP-60 compatible battery (950mAh)
Does that mean that the original battery has higher capacity than the compatible battery? (i.e. orignal battery last longer than compatible battery?)

denizenx: I have spoken to our factory and it is possible to make the rated capacity 750mAh which is the original Minolta NP-200 specs.

NP-60
xiaoming: The original is 950mAh. I'm not sure when they increased it to 1035mAh. Anyway the capacity of the rated capacity is 1100mAh.

Thank you for all your interested. With limited orders, we can only bring in what we can and hence if we are not able to fulfill your orders, please understand.

Please also note that we are very strict on the mAh rating on the battery and hence the "stated" capacity should be the same as the "rated" capacity. A good example is the BP-511 which is "stated" as 1500mAh but reached 1640mAh on the Maha-777 analyser.

What abt the Sony NP-FC11? The NP-FC10 is rated 600mAh, while the NP-FC11 is rated 777mAh. Other than that, they are physically the same and cross-compatible with one another.

you didn't state the model for the Canon one.. is it NB-5H? The original is rated at 650 mAh ..... you don't have HIGHER capacities for this?

Also for the Canon one.. the original is Ni-MH .... and in the first post... you state that all the batts are in lithium ion... ca you confirm this?

Whats the advantage of lithium ion over Ni-MH?
for the same rating... Lithium-ion last longer? :dunno:

I am interested in getting the NP-60 battery. But I saw another MO by you, selling the "original" Eastgear battery, with retail labels and packing, and more importantly: with 1 year "1 for 1 exchange" warranty.

Since you mentioned the batteries are from the same Eastgear factory, with same high quality, can Eastgear provide the same 1 year "1 for 1 exchange" warranty for this MO too, instead of only 6 months? It will certainly make us feel better if the warranty period given to the other MO is the same.
