Where can I check for tech detail of the Sanyo Charger? I'm interested to know if it uses an AC adapter, what DC input voltage to the charger, how many cell can it charge at once and how fast, can it charge AA & AAA at same time?

this is my personal idea: I am using a Sanyo quick charger:

Pros: compact, have "refresh" function

Cons: quite noisy, get hot very soon. I couldnt charge 4 batts at the same time 'cos the charger becomes hot very soon and it just stops charging.

10 pieces of PD70x confirmed to date. i'm not going to take in anymore orders.

going to send the 10 of u guys the payment details. pls let me know if u have received my pm.

I recved the PM,and i understand this prior payment since 10 pieces really cost a lot.
But could you please provide your real name , iC no and contact number for giving us extra guarantee on this? It feels not that good for just giving an account number and ask us to transfer..

sure. what would i want to cheat you? moreover, i'm not making a single cent out of this.

No, man.. I do not mean any offence on you. This one is just for safety purpose and easy contact. I think that is normal request. Will you send money to somebody that you just know nothing except a nickname?

Anyway, thanks very much for organizing such a MO.

Next is the HDD ... I PM'ed drumma, but he's not interested in doing this ... and I don't really have the time or energy to do an MO, either someone can take it up, or we can just share information about where to get.

Let me start ... based on pricelists at www.hardwarezone.com, the cheapest I can find are :

40GB : Samsung, $110 (Fuwell)
60GB : Samsung, $135 (Best Bargain)
80GB : Samsung, $167 (Best Bargain)

Stock situation unknown, of course ...

Anyone got better lobang ? I'm likely to go for the 80GB.

alrights, ericp.. i'll just do u favour and pass u with the 80GB hDD since u are the only one.. u want a 80GB below $167?

lonleywolf, sorrie if i sounded harsh. dun mean any offence either. but i've been getting alot of banal talks from ppl. hope it doesn't affect u in any way. :)

hi peeps, im not organising a MO or anything but a seagate hd has 5 yrs warranty compared to samsung 3 yrs (correct me if im wrong). but seagate only has the 8mb cache version currently.

just something to consider for those buying hdd. other than that hardwarezone is a good place to check pricing and forum for user's experienc using the hdd.

while seagate has a 5 yr warranty... err.. I'll stick to western digital.

suggest you read..

also:
In order to strengthen its offerings in the market, Hitachi has announced extended five-year warranty on Deskstar HDDs of 80GB capacity and above with effect from 20th June, 2005.
