MO: Panasonic FX9

i went down today.. somehow they quoted me 598.. but seems like sls pple wan u to get accessories.. so maybe they earn from they.. after goin to a few shops which quote me ridiculously low prices.. as low as 585 after gst for fx9.. n ridiculously high prices to upgrade the sd card.. i refuse.. than they tell me no stock.. a few store same problem.. i gave up..

i went down to ms color... since more reliable.. but eventually tried both.. n realise fx8 n fx9 the screen not very big diff.. so i decided to get fx8.. 530 before gst.. 256mb sd card + case + screen protector (asked for it, he say ok)... yeah..

another thing.. those interested to get from ms color hor.. they dun take in black.. cos they say black is glossy.. than somehow the paint will drop. so regardless of fx8 or fx9.. no black..

FX9's black is not glossy, it's matt.

1) Jestin : FX 9 Black
2) Kodomo : FX 9 Black
3) Dynaway : FX8 Black
4) mwerkz : FX8/9, pink or black... depends on where we get it..
5) Reo : FX 9 Black (Can only get it after 28 Sept due to pay)
6) tuapui : FX9 Black (R u guys getting another batt also??)
7) bleu : FX9 black or gray (1GB card + OEM batt)

Hahah, get real man...shops who quote funny prices only want you to go back to them...then they tell you no stock...then they will say other brand cameras good and ask you buy other brand...but that is not what you want in the 1st place right...or they will sell you a piece of screen saver for 2x the profit and maybe sell you oem batt for 2x profit also...this story line is too common...shops who promised funny prices always tell you no stock ya...lmao...

actually to be honest, not too sure how objective MS color's take on black color is....i have asked around from a few shops, actually many of them are out of stock for black/red because it is very popular...some of them cant order more black/red because they are still stuck with their silver/metallic greys , they want to clear them before reordering new stock......

having said that, the camera to me is for taking pics only.....for my wife its an accessory too, so the color's gotta be right also....

erms.. it's quite ok.. since i had intially wanted pink for fx8 instead.. so well.. juz get the pink lo.. since they have stock for it... fx9 i compare to fx8 not much diff.. so well..

nope.. 598 is before gst.. all prices quoted by me is before gst.. anyway i think better go to ms color, alan photo or cathay photo la.. since the other shops seems like more interested in selling accessories.. maybe that is where they make most of their money from..

not much use.. u want or not.. still got to take.. cos the 256mb sd card.. is actually packaged by panasonic.. n not the shop.. else all shop wun package it so similarly..

Yup the SD card is given by Pana, not the shops. If dont want, they will deduct $20 only.

we will consolidate by 30 Sep then go ahead with those on the MO list? How's that?
