For those seriously considering filters, I'll STRONGLY recommend the 55mm to 55mm convertor and not the 55mm to 52mm.

I am using the 55mm to 52mm and I have my UV(0) permanently fitted. When I add any filter, and shooting at 35mm (widest angle), the four corners are showing the filter ring. (All my filters are HOYA).

Actually, I am considering selling my entire set of 52mm filters to get 55mm filters, due to this problem. But right now, rather poor, so I'll hold on for a while.

So that means with the 55-55 adapter, the problem will disappear?
