Yes, it is. I tested with a 10D and it works fine.

buy buy buy! :)

hmm... 2.4gb

After formatted, the drive (useable capacity) will be 2G or 2.4G ?

I mean format under 10D.

At FAT32, It reads about 2.3GB. This is the useable capacity I got formatting it with my laptop.

The 10D, I understand, uses FAT32 also. So it should be the same.

2. VincentLin - 1 pcs (for a friend)

From what I understand, many of the older cameras do not support FAT32, and thus unable to use the MagicStor at its full capacity. However, theoretically can still format as FAT16 with 2GB limit at 32k per sector.

Good thing that 10D supports FAT32.

Hi spycyfish,

The review at ppcsg.com was actually a preview on a reworked pre-production unit.

I have one pre-production unit with me for awhile already, and I tell you I was rather disappointed (somewhat like the preview at ppcsg.com).

However, the production units are much better. Slightly lowered current consumption (the specs at 275mA were a bit too high but the company decided to put it down as that). And works with every Type II CF device I could get my hands on.

I hope this answers your worries.

Hi guys,

Thanks for your support.

I am pleased that my MO and walk-in went quite well.

For future orders of the above product, please order from Daniel @ EastGear.

Thanks so much! :D
