Updates: Lightsphere will be shipped next week: Just received an email from Gary's father:

Your lightspheres will be shipping Monday (US time) Feb 14 2005.

We ran into couple of problems.

1:* We were out of stock on the domes for 3 weeks.

**** The domes are finally in and ready to ship.

2:* The US post service added some changes to global parcel

**** shipping.

Received my shippment today but there's a big screw up!!

Comes in 2 small packages. Each contains only 1 lightsphere. And one is without the dome!

I've emailed to Gary and company to resolve the issue.

Be patient guys and I've to apologies on their behalf.

Hi,
Not in one package.
On the day of shipping, I emailed you that the 30 units were
shipping out in separate packages.

US postal service limits 4 lbs or less per package, unless you
want to ship parcel post. In that case it would take up to one
month in shipping time. I know you would not want that.
There are a total of 6 different packages in this shipment,
ranging from one per package to 9 per package.
There should not any domes missing.
We are very careful about that.


So hope to recieve the rest of the packages tomorrow...

Received the 3rd package today containing 1 set of lightsphere and dome.

Hope there's no mistake in the shipping cos it is really strange to pack the other 27 lightspheres + 28 domes in the remaining 3 packages... ????

I've received my 4th and 5th package today.
In total I've received 10 lightspheres + 9 domes.
The 6th package is now retained by Sing Post due to some duty tax issue. Will collect on Sat.

The bad news is that all the 10 lightspheres are meant for Canon 550EX which are not according to my order!!! (beng san liao!)

Just hope the other 20 are not for 550EX......

Those who didn't order are also welcome to buy the 550EX from me as I not keen to ship the extra back.

Was told that the 550 is the universal shell and the rubber band thingy that I've receive is the adapter.
So this is different from those that I've ordered earlier....
