Full LCD Panel to allow easy operations
All functions are clearly spelt out in a large built-in backlit LCD Panel, no need to figure out crypytic icons and LEDs to indicate what the digital album is doing.

On-Screen File and Folder Listing
For the best assurance that your precious images are inside the harddisk, Nixvue DA Lite tells you where your files reside. You can even check the sizes of individual files and copy them back to the memory card if needed.

Powerful OS with Windows Explorer-like File Management
Simple-to-use but yet powerful, the built-in OS allows you to view your directory file structure, and copy/paste/move/delete files and folders without the need to connect to a computer

disk-space-check.gif

Disk Space Checking
There is nothing worse than running out of disk space whilst on the move. With the Nixvue DA, you can easily check the amount of disk space remaining. This indispensable function is sorely missing in many other similar storage devices.

Battery life Indicator
Next to running out of disk space is the problem of running out of battery charge. The Nixvue DA comes with an accurate battery indicator to remind you of the amount of charge remaining. Using a high-capacity rechargeable Lithium Ion battery, the device allows for over 30 transfers of a 128MB memory card on full charge.

Software/firmware Upgradable
Supports Windows 98/SE/ME/2000/XP, Macintosh 9.1 and above, Linux

What is the difference of this with Xdrive 2?

Roughly, when we can expect to receive the product, if we have more than 20 buyers by 16Nov?

I need to have portable storage by end Nov

1. Faster download speed
2. More features (ie. Verify, browse, copy to/from card, etc...)

We already have the stocks in our warehouse, so if there is more than 20 buyers before 16 Nov, we will close the MO and proceed with the sale.

If you have the stock why don't you just sell it at the price to the ppl here who buy it BEFORE the 16th? This, I think makes better business sense and more fair to the ppl here.

Thanks for your interest. it is a rather complicated issue here. EastGear is the distributor and has dealers who take stock of Nixvue. It would create the issue of under-cutting. We have to be fair to our dealers also. We already had one dealer asking us about this mass-order.

That is why ONLY people in ClubSNAP who place their name down will be entitled to the special prices (whatever it will be). It is a special mass order and hence those who walk in the shop now will not be entitled to the discounted price of $230.

Hope you are able to sell your X-Drive II. There has been a lot of interest generated regarding the X-Drive II.

I have a IBM Travelstar 2.5'' hd. It is however only 9mm. Will it fit better in Nixvue or in X-drive?

it will fit nicely into both...

Dear LauLEE,

I'm afraid that I cannot accept your purchase condition, which is not very tangible. If there is a slight possibility that you may not want to buy the DA Lite, we would prefer that you not join the MO to be fair to others who are serious about purchasing if we get enough people to join the MO.

Thanks and regards,

Daniel

The device can copy 30x 128mb before going flat; that's about 4GB. Most of the 40GB will not be used (for what it was intended for). Is there any way to extend the battery life of the DA lite, like external packs, or spare batteries? Do you carry these?

Are there any similar devices that can backup about 10GB before going flat? If you carry them, how much are they?

TIA.

Yes we have an optional accessory, an external battery pack that uses 8 x AA, it should allow an additional transfer of 5-6GB

It cost $35.
