As I understand from some CSers who have enquired with Nikon Singapore, they do not cover the warranty of digital products such as digital cameras and DX lenses that are purchased outside Singapore. However, non-digital products such as film cameras and non-DX lenses are covered. In any case, they will still service the equipment with charges.

Yep... really need to thk jchangcc for the info & effort. Just went to HK over the weekend to get myself the Tokina 12-24 f4 lens... very reasonable price and friendly svc provided by Tin Cheung (like local TCW) over at Tsimshatsui. Price is as stated by Jchangcc.
