For both the Pelang and Zenitar lens, do I need to purchase adapter to fit into my nikon D70...
ALso know that the focal length have to multiply by 1.5...
So on using the Zenitar 18mm lens, I should not be able to see the fish eye effect.....???

You need not get the adaptors as they can be mounted directly to the d70. Please note that these are not CPU lens.

the 16mm FE becomes a "wide angle" there is little fisheye effect. with the pelang, u can see more of the fisheye effect, though there will be some cark areas around the corner.

If mount the Zenitar fisheye to D70, there will beno auto-focus but the metering will work. pls correct me if I am wrong.

There is no Autofocus as there is no motor in the lens.

From what I gathered from previous MO, a S3Pro user says that the LCD displays "F--" when the lens is used in Av and Tv. Meaning that for the s3Pro, it could only use manual mode and metering does not work. I think its the same for D70.

Check this out, under compatable lens.
