Well .. at least he's advertising for canon  :bsmilie: (check out http://sg.yahoo.com) .. he's holding a 70-200 :sticktong

i kinda enjoyed the show leh... Once the trademark music plays, feels the excitement already... kekekek :bsmilie:

I agree ... but i love the U2's theme of MI best..

Tom Cruise uses Canon gear! Check out that 'L' lens he's holding. lol. :bsmilie:

Okie some comments frm me.

The usual Xtra action...parts quite unbelievable. These R a few I remembered:

1) The UH-1H managed to out-maneuver the longbow (excuse me...if say wrong model-type--as dont know much abt helicopters).

2) One of the heat-seeking missiles frm the longbow, was mis-led or tricked into following a flare-shot by one of the agents from the UH-1H.

3) Cheesy line. Ethan Hunt scaled a wall...upon reaching the top- lying flat...says "Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall". In actual fact he was not even sitting down but rather lying dwn on top of the wall.

Well @ first I thought the show would be boring...but okie lar...watchable. The villian (think his name was Damian) was not bad in some of the scenes...he macam ya-ya…trying to taunt Ethan Hunt.

Oh yeah…last thing to add…Ethan was receiving message for the mission through the view-finder of a Kodak disposable camera!!!

Ha ha…wonder what if he tried other disposable cameras say Fuji or Konica…wonder what message will be played?

MI3 was too predictable. My preference...1st MI, followed by MI2 and MI3.

Hmm ... Not sure but you guys but just find that Phillip Seymour Hoffman doesn't really fit the role of a villain... or is it just me

the show's pretty ok la.

for those who whined at the part where he broken in to get the rabbit's foot, i believe the singaporean cinemas had cut that whole part off. it was rumored to be 12 mins of him in the building =)

There were definitely more than 10 mins missing.
The US version is 126 mins long, the 1 i watched is a little less than 2 hrs only. (Excluding commercials)

WTH ... eh .... feel like going back to the cinema and demand a refund  ... now why the hell would they want to cut it off ... i was wondering why no connection ... he managed to get in and then he crashes out of the building with gunfire behind him...

i think he was an awesome actor.. and played the role really well

well... at least i learnt from the last scene where the baddie got killed that there are very big trucks driving very fast in the small back lanes of the old buildings in shanghai ...
but actually the old buildings are not in shanghai, but i believe to be shot in "zhou1 zhuang1" which is about 4 hours bus ride from shanghai.

i agree, was pleasantly surprised by his acting, esp in the scenes where they killed his "wife" and also when he was trying to electrocute himself

Yeah he did.. but he simply didn't have - "the look"

Compared to :

dougray scott - Mi2
richard roxburgh - Mi2

true, i kept thinking about the ben stiller and jennifer aniston show when ever i saw him .. meeting polly or seomthing :bsmilie: :bsmilie:

Along Came Polly?

I wondered what happend if they chose:

Dennis Hopper for the role of the villain ... he played it so well in "speed" ... :bsmilie:

by comparison, i find Bourne is more filled with souls and meats..ha. Ethan has to look COOL, PASSIONATE, POPULAR among Fiance's friends, SINCERE when said..trust me, The HAPPIEST man in the end, PAINFUL and FURIOUS when caught..

I just find Bourne is more like a real agent.
