Hi anyone know where got honest service for vintage camera?

the 7s is pretty cheap online, the cost to get another one is most likely lower than trying to get it fixed.
alternatively, you could get a set of simple tools to do DIY if its a small issue

what are the chances he will load a roll of film and go out to shoot?

if yes, then spend the money and fix it. or buy a better film camera for him.

if no, just keep it as it is for a sentimental value.
