Hey guys,

Getting some conflicting information... On one hand, some people say it's the exact same lens, just different labeling. However, I'm also hearing that the sony has a 55mm filter thread, as compared to the 49mm thread on the Minolta.

Is the actual lens (the glass) bigger?? Or just the thread? If the glass itself is bigger, this would mean it's brighter too...
