Minolta MAXXUM AF 50 MM F 1.7 Autofocus Lens

Sorry to bother u fella. I find that the 1.7 is sharpest at F2.8.
And F1.7 is most soft no matter how I should...
Is it the same with yours or is it mine only..?

I came across the lens in one of those 'hole-in-the-wall' camera repair shops selling used lens. The shop-owner told me that the shops here only deal in used lenses and do not import new lens from overseas as the taxes are extremely high.

If u need any tips on where to stay or visit, can let me know... I have spent 5 whole days walking about in HCM city and really beginning to like it here

Hi, I just arrived back in S'pore this evening. Finally bought the lens this morning - the shopowner mentioned he still have another 50mm f1.7 left. The shop's name is Photo Duc Loc at 135-11A Nguyen Hue District 1. Very near the roundabout where Rex Hotel is located. Good luck and have fun in HCM!
