Is there such thing? I have a 50mm F1.4 from my very old Minolta XG2. I was wondering I can use it with my 30D.

Woah... that's old and quite hard to find a Minolta to Canon adaptor... if one even exists.... I think the more popular conversion might be Canon to Minolta... altho' hardly anyone actually uses these kinds of convertors anymore... sorry can't help you there...

If ur minolta is AF lens, sell to me lah. go buy a canon 50mm may be easier.

yes i've seen canon to minolta converters, but not the other way around. in any case, you'll lose AF capability so why bother? tme's right, go buy a 50mm lens for canon.

Someone DIYed a converter to mount a Minolta MC 58mm lens on to a Canon EOS 5D using a M42 to EOS adaptor, you can read abt it here:

But be forewarned that the process is not reversible...

I think it's cheaper to buy a Canon 50mm.
