Minolta Dynax 9 - help!

Hi, I have a Minolta Dynax 9, and have always put it inside a dry glass box with with silicon gels. However, I took it out recently and noticed that there are some fungus and due to this, the rubberized side has totally cracked, exposing the inside parts! Is there anyway or anywhere I can get the whole piece of rubber replaced, does anyone know? I just wrote to Konica-Minolta but I have a feeling the chances of replacing the rubber is slim.. or else it's expensive?

woah thats bad.
I think youre better off buying another minolta body. They cost next to nothing on evilbay :)

i'm not sure of the humidity. .always put it in a dry box with silicon gel.. guess the silicon gel weren't much help.. i don't think i want to buy another cos i have another pen and a digital one to use .. it's just for keepsake and nothing like your own camera. .. :(

did you reheat the silica gel?

no i didn't.. i guess i'm partially at fault cos i never really did look at it much after I put it inside the dry box.. :( minolta just replied me saying they can't repair it.. asked me to go other camera repair shops. Anyone knows whether any shop can repair this?
