Hi,
Nice shot!!

Have a nice day.

Noob question: How'd you compensate for the motion blur? Panning tripod / special software or some other technique?

Motorised mount, those for telescopes.

Or use shutter speed less then say 55 seconds. Aperture wide open, ISO of around 1600.

Beautiful !!!

We city dweller had probably forgotten what was it like to view the star filled night... Still remember those view in Malaysia island, and also near lake Tekapo in New Zealand. Such view will really make you feel humble and appreciate the greatness of the universe.

WOW. *eyes pop out. how did you get that 'nebular' effect? or what is it called? i'm sorry, i very very new to photography. the photograph makes you wonder what exists beyond Earth. =D

Seen before, but can never get enough of it :) Thanks for sharing, very nice shots. Did you light the leaves with a flash or was it ambient light?

That's the milky way. ISO 1600, aperture wide open, with 45 sec - 55 sec exposure in dark enough skies, and u'll be able to see it clearly.

what camera u use?
can take in singapore sky?

my 400d seems to be able to max at 30sec only..
unless there are stuffs i dunno abt it

My old faithful Nikon D70. :) All you need to do is set 400D support BULB mode, use a remote control or a cable.
