Milky Way Galaxy photographed in Singapore recently.

Anyone can advice when will milky way be visible next month ard 8-9+ at night? Wana try it.

Assuming it is visible from a location and under same clarity of sky, the summer portion of the Milky Way is thicker and brighter. The winter portion is dimmer and thinner.

If you wish to shoot Winter Milky Way, you may try it at 9pm+.

If you wish to shoot the Summer Milky Way, it may be just below or slightly above the horizon at 9pm+ next month. Better to wait until 3 AM next month when it is high up in the sky.

Else, if can only shoot around 9pm+, try one month later, i.e. June.

You may download the free Stellarium software to find out when and how Milky Way is visible at different date, time and location: www.stellarium.org. Else you can also try phone apps like Cosmos Navigator (android and iOS).

Thx. I'll try that.

I haven't get Ultra wide angle lens yet... 28mm lens not wide enough...

If the sky clearly tonight... 12am not a problem to get it~

Must use over 1600-6400iso... Then PS LR or captureOne to adjust the light sure you can see~

My 1st time to shoot milky way :)

Hi alves I'm interested too but am a total noob. If you're doing it on Friday night or a weekend pls jio me too.

Haha... This coming Friday hard to get already... Moon up~ this week around 12am milky way on 45 degree~

Heavy light pollution... Big problem ~ I'm noob also~ 1st time star shooting~ star without milky way very easy~

Not useful but detrimental. Milky way already elusive enuff cos of our sg ambient light, the moon will make it worse/harder to get a good clear capture. Thus best to avoid.

Moon phase got timing up and down~ this 2 day go n take milky way sure no big problem~

U see my picture, it's on 90 degree already, but bottom ambient light strong...

Sembawang park good place also but alot of people fishing at night
