No prob , the XS version has a better coating on it compared to the F-pro version and generally is better for wider lenses so it's good for this lens as it's 12mm at it wide end.

No luck, posted at the cash back thread to see anyone keen to buy the body only to sell me this lens but no one reply. Maybe or hopefully there is a cash back on this lens, haha.

Better to co share with people and buy locally.. will be sgd1k or below.. or look out for the bns brand new set that some CSer de kit from the kit set they brought.

Panasonic Spore won't give warranty for lens bought in Japan, right ?

Nope.. pany sg only want local sales revenue. And on top of that, they charge extra if you bring oversea set to repair I heard..
Eh , let's sort this out properly.
Pana SG don't honor international warranty. So do note then even if u buy sets with international warrant cards overseas , SG Pana will not honor the warranty.
I don't think Pana SG charges extra to repair oversea sets. In all, they will simply treat overseas sets as out of warranty and charge accordingly.
Oly honors international warranty. Just present warranty card and receipts.
even photocopies will do but do be kind to the Oly staff and they will reciprocate in kind.

If I remember correctly, it was quoted by one of the bros in cs (agrivar is it you? ) such that he has to bang table with the pany service manager to debate about the extra charges.. lol..
Ya , I remember that thread too. But it's better to confirm with Panny SG. I definitely do not doubt Agrivar's words but it's been a while since then
