Actually, the 1GB is still not very cheap now. I believe it is still 300+ new. At this price, I'll rather get a 1GB flash memory CF at around $390-400 or 2 x 512MB at $200 each. Note also that the MD is also slower when you are reviewing your photos on the camera. I have one, and while it is fast during shooting, it is slow during reviewing during to the drive spin up and rotational latency.

The 2.4GB magicstor, at $399, is very cheap per megabyte.

ya, i called alan photo. so the expensive!!! he says that it comes with a travel adaptor kit for laptop, and that the brand is IBM. first, i dont have a laptop! the 1gb cf card 30x he quoted me so the expensive, 410. just one month ago or so he told me 380-390 one.
