I didn't say I sent my prints to ML leh... hehehe I work at the central,... so you guys should know which lab lar and it is a popular lab in CS too.

Dun want to mention the name cos this thread is not meant for it. hehe

p/s: I do send to two pro labs. One for digital prints and one for film prints (still prefer the analog machine for film:D )

I so agree. And cheap as well!
One of my friends sent some 5R prints with borders to a particular lab around this area (without asking for the price of course), and he was charged $2 per print!

Hi kelvyneo, I was wondering if Miao Laan actually has downloadable profiles available for soft proofing.

If it is, could you kindly send me a copy or something? :)
Hi Snag
Thanks for your great support. The profiles are not ready as the moment, once the colour profiles are ready i will let your know. Miao Laan Colour Centre always believes that service and quality come first.

nw75, relax. We have no proof showing he is advertising for his own business because he is a "newbie".:bsmilie:

So good to register with CS and post this for this online service only. Somehow, it is rude to crash into others thread although he/she may think that he is giving some good info here.:thumbsd:

I am also a regular to a pro lab which I can get $0.30 plus album plus index print plus 5% discount!!!

Yo.. sorry... first time posting a msg. Didnt mean to cause any hurt or damages. Will take note of this in future.

sorry kelvyneo.

Great! Looking forward to seeing the profiles!

One of the best labs I've been to so far. Even the non-profiled, straight-out-of-the-printer prints look 97% identical to my soft copies displayed on my monitor.

Will definitely recommend it to my fellow friends.

HI Togu
I was wondering whether if there is any misunderstanding. if im not wrong, i was the one to serve you on that night. you did told me you are KT's customer but nv mention as CS member. u asked me whether if it is 0.30/pc. I told you YES cos u have more than hundred copies. u also bought from us a 120pcs hard cover album.
If you are from Cs, U need to mention us that u are CS member and give your CS ID,so that u are entitled to 0.30/pc(4r). if you did not mention u need to pay 0.35/pc(as walk in customer.)
We always believe quality and customers come first and hope to continue to provide high quality service to all CS member.

Hi Kelvy,

Yes, I think you are the one who serve me that night, from the way you describe. :p

The little girl I met on the first day didn't mentioned anything about the bulk prints, CS discounts when I asked her if the rates could be lower, and was like telling me she can't make the decisions on the price. That's what trigger me to ask again when I'm collecting my prints. Glad that you gave me a better answer and the nice recommendation on the album. My client likes it!

Guess next time I should pop my head to see if you are in before I step in.

Nice talking to you and yes, you are right, the colours are good! ;p

Btw, thread title updated for more significant view.

Hi All, any idea how much it cost to develop of a roll of film into a digital format?without printing out as prints. that's mean only film developing + digitize cost..i will appreciate if u can tell me which shop to get the cheaper cost. I come across 1 fujifilm shop in Bishan that will digitize into a cd for $2.9 per roll, 300dpi resolution. but i forgot to ask them what is the cost to develop a film. What do you think?

Thank you.

p/s:i can't open this topic as new thread.. why? issit because i have to post more to earn the 'member'?

I'd like to commend Miao Laan for providing good service (btw, i'm not related to them - i'm just a satisfied customer). The ladies went over and above their call of duty to ensure that i was satisfied with the quality of my prints, and even stayed back till about 10pm to get my prints done on the same day, for the sake of my convenience.

Hi KELVYNEO,

I wanted the shooting date to be printed on the photo but was told that date could not be read from my JPEG files.

My JPEG files were output from Nikon Capture 4.2.1. I can print the date on inkjet from either NC4 or Canon Easy-PhotoPrint.

Please advise if there is a compatibility issue to read the EXIF data by fujifilm printing system.

Thanks.

Hi JCI
Do you crop your images? If you crop, it means some of the data has been loss and when you send it to the lab, the printer is unable to detect it, resulting in the date not being able to show on the images. But if your camera is an SLR or with a 3:2 ratio then you won't have this problem.Or you can call us at 65641062, we may able to assist you better.
