Jebsen and Jessen was the previous distributor for all Metz products in Singapore . :)

JJ first then Tithes then now Schmidt right?

Yes.... before Schmidt was Tithes, but their dealership was short-lived.

Keep in mind that Schimdt is not going to make a better distributor. Schmidt Marketing is a Hong Kong-based company (surprisingly, J&J is still the Metz distributor in HK). Their Singapore office is really small with only 6 working staff, and none of them doing repair and servicing.

Metz flashes in auto mode uses a auto sensor just like Nikon speedlites in AA mode..u oni need to dial in the ISO and aperture u r using..and viola as good as TTL..

a pity my auto sensor went nutty..can oni use manual mode..still using it to play occasionally.

I believe that Auto mode is good enough to produce good picture.
The TTL or iTTL may not 100% accurate also.

ittl, dttl, attl, etc....all these are AI (keh kiang) mode. works well most of the time but can be fooled every now and then. :bsmilie:

anyway now sb800 quite cheap right? just get one lah. if not then get a cheap vivitar autoflash for $100+ ;p
