1,3,4 are fantastic! love them!!

Absolutely no negative comments about this one.... You're one fine graduate, if that is... Great work lumen.... The colour fades are great... everything just works for me... looks like you'll be moving on really soon for better stuff....

thks guys for the comments. :)

PBS: i still have some 'burdens' with me in framing my pics... if ya didn't break the mould in me last saturday for the outdoor shots, i'll still be shooting like last time...

Very very humble opinion (own personal preference):

I love the ambience created in pic 3 - potential to be a very powerful pic, given more dramatic make-up and styling. Personally, I would shoot from the direction of behind her head, which would take away emphasis on underchin, as well as land more dramatism of seeing the model from an upside-down perspective, which could suit the theme of the pic. I would also probably vary her pose and expression a little.

Don't get me wrong, it's an excellent pic. I wouldn't be able to dream this up. Just trying to explore means to help it reach it's fullest potential. Lot's of potential with the created ambience.

interesting... don't worry i accept critiques/criticisms, etc of my photos... it's the best way to tap into ppl's brains and ideas (for free! ;p haha)

btw what do you mean by an 'upside down' perspective?

Erm...

heh heh, pardon my inability to express myself. I don't mind 180 degrees of course, but the photo will turn out with the head oriented at the bottom of your pic (at an angle of course)

Gothic photos are definitely a unpopular genre in Singapore. I think you have created a good mood for it. The way I see it, it has the best potential to be a great photo among those you posted.

By the way, the last pic you posted before this post, I think the effect can be improved if model is looking away from camera (maybe looking down?) Effect can be further dramatised if contrast is increased, the show the impact of hiding in the shadows. Again, just my opinions.

thanks shinken :) i think i know what you mean about the angle... never thought about that...

FMPOV editing the latter lot of these shots may have to be done in the day... in wee hours of the night without a room light... lets just leave it as if there is a slight sound behind me I have 2 choices ....one of them involves jumping out of my skin.

Here's one that seems to find its shape very quickly.

Yup it is distrubing but what makes it more so is that the gown seems to have gained in liveliness as the clothe's horse blood drains away. My version of the in the corner picture when I took a closer look last night before post processing scared the BJees out of me - call it a night - the skin seem to glow with a slight green tinge........ looked like a lost soul waiting to be brought to form.

Mel - forgive us for we know not what we do....... there are some bright happy ( well maybe not so happy) people shots too.

Like all horrow movives you need an quiet point after the scarey bits.

Let sleeping souls lie.

Ellery, consider doing Black & white for this... Lots of great tones, you can dodge and burn them and lots of space for creativity...

dude, try more dodge and burn techniques like Enlarger days, I kinda brought you guys in there cos I see lots of grey tones, perfect for creativity.... Somebody can try unsharping mask up to 200% and see what you get later... Keep the room lights on if you doing it through the night...

This is Shodan's images.... Really went twicking it till rust happens....

Great works. Love the errie feel.

For the last pic : If only Melissa had look at the camera with a wild carnivorous look... that would make the pic more devilish. IMHO.
