Thank you guys, it's really encouraging!

Frankly, I never consciously considered if I should be stealthy or to engage them.
Sometimes they are just so interesting that I cannot help but want to know more about them.
Some scenes just require you to be stealthy to bring out the story, and that's when I 'try' to be stealthy, haha!

And yes! Many many thanks to Felix (raytoei) for his generosity.
He was really cool about it - didn't even nag at me to take good care of the setup - but of course I did!
And it's not just Felix, many others offered me their help too.
This is one hell of a community, and I'm very glad to be part of it.

The Aboriginals, in many ways, are like the African Americans - bullied, outcast and robbed of their lands.

Having a quiche at the Queen Victoria Market.

We met in the elevator. He's from the countryside and is in the city to partake in a ballroom dancing competition.

He owns a cigar store and speaks with a heavy Russian overtone. We talked about cameras, film and his old Yashica.

We met him on a beach near Mornington Peninsula. He told us about his endless summer days and of his daily morning swim in the frigid waters.

This was in the back-kitchen of a burger-joint in one of the suburbs that we managed to sneak into.
He was riddled with a crippling, pubescent awkwardness but remained impeccably courteous.

He's from Tasmania and proudly regaled me with tales of his land's beauty. He was also the last person I spoke to in Melbourne.

There are talents busking everywhere in Melbourne, and their standards are staggering!
He was rapping along to some wicked riffs. Also, a large numbers of guitarists I met were using Australia's own Cole Clark Guitars.

Some are more unique than the others; here's a jumping bunny doing some sick slaps on his bass.

A strange old lady with a thousand plastic-bags swaying along to a busking cellist.

Their talents are diverse.

The blind fiddler we met at a fair. He was incredibly good and probably can take the stage at the Esplanade.

A songbird to kick off the Neopan400 shots.

Almost all the old folks I met were immaculately dressed.

And all of them used some sort of stroller.
